Director of the Police Complaints Authority, Gillian Lucky has confirmed that she has held discussions with Acting Police Commissioner, Stephen Williams, regarding the use of force in the service.
Ms. Lucky made the comment during an interview with News Power Now. The discussion with the Acting police commissioner came on the heels of the circumstances surrounding the alleged shooting by police of Beetham resident, Christopher Greaves on Sunday.
The P.C.A. is also probing complaints made by some citizens about the excessive use of force by police officers in the line of duty.
Ms. Lucky said the Acting Police Commissioner did indicate there is need for the force policy to be reviewed.
