Prisons Officers Association has no plans to stand in the way of investigation

The Prisons Officers Association meantime, says it has no plans to stand in the way of the investigation into the once missing master key at the Remand Yard facility at the Golden Grove prison.

The key reportedly opens cells within the South, North, Upper South, Upper North and Top Security wings at the Remand Yard.

It was recovered in a desk drawer, 4 days after it went missing, although prison officials at the prison say the drawer it was found in was empty when searched

On Wednesday, National Security Minister, John Sandy confirmed that about 80 officers, on duty the day the key went missing, would undergo the lie detector test
Association President, Rajkumar Ramroop, in a Newspower Authority interview this morning said all efforts to keep the prison safe and return the institution to a level of normalcy would be supported
