Licensing Main Office in Port of Spain

Many who visited the Licensing Main Office in Port of Spain yesterday expressed anger yesterday after the PSA shuts it down for a staff meeting about working hours.

Members of the public expressed outrage because of what they described as an unnecessary disruption.

According to the Public Services Authority president Watson Duke, operations are set to regularize come January.

The public, however, was anything but happy, calling the timing of the seemingly ad-hoc meeting ‘highly inconsiderate’.

Duke spoke about the yesterday’s events on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102.1 fm this morning.

He said that OSHA issues have not been resolved and there still exists a myriad of problems that need to be addressed.

He said that there needed to be an assurance that things were OSHA ready at the new facility in Caroni before workers could be moved there.

Public Services Association President, Watson Duke
