PTSC Buses get WIFI.

PTSC-BusMaxie CuffiePassengers will soon have access to Wi-Fi connection while onboard Public Transport Service Corporation PTSC buses.

Minister of Public Administration and Communication, Maxie Cuffie has announced that this service, which will be accessible on selected routes during the initial phases, will become available to the public after its launch on Friday 29th July.

He stated that the benefits this initiative will bring to commuters who use the PTSC bus service with greatly out weight the cost of the upgrades.

Cuffie also said the ministry is hopeful that the service will enable all persons, especially those who would not have access to Wi-Fi otherwise, to effectively engage with government services and economic activities that would help boost the economy.

    100 percent welcomed but what about the general upkeep of the buses. The condition of some of those buses are unacceptable.

    Just like rituals and many supposedly free WiFi zones in Trinidad and Tobago. The WiFi would suddenly be down and grannies and grandpas go be complaining they ain’t getting WiFi to play Pokemon Go. Just a matter of timer before it stop working and takes weeks to fix, smh.
