Well it’s US9.99 for sure, for flights between Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana and now Trinidad…now that controversial Barbados based airline REDjet has been given the go ahead to operate in all 4 countries
The airline will be flying the Caribbean skies from May 10th… and from Trinidad from May 15th, one week later than originally announced.
Clearance came after some hiccups with the Trinidad and Tobago government
REDjet Director Ian Burns confirmed the new development this afternoon and said he was pleased that Government gave the green light for what he described as friendly competition amongst other Caribbean based air carriers.
Mr. Burns said even though he was disappointed with the delay of flights he said that pre bookings exceeded expected results.
The director added that for the first time Caribbean consumers would have a choice when choosing an airline to facilitate regional travel
