Regional Corporations urged to step up in fight against Zika Virus

Experts are worried that the virus is spreading far and fast, with devastating consequences.

The infection has been linked to thousands of babies being born with underdeveloped brains.

Recently the government said it is treating the mosquito -borne Zika virus as a public health emergency.

Health Minister, Terrence Deyalsingh, speaking with reporters at this week’s mosquito eradication exercise in Diego Martin appealed to regional corporations across the country to come board.
