The Finance Minister this afternoon said a number of moves will be made to increase income for use by the government.
He had been speaking during government’s mid year review.
Maintaining that government must have money to be able to spend money, Minister, Colm Imbert told the House of Representatives that there must be national discussion as it relates to the feasibility of the fuel subsidy currently enjoyed by citizens.
He noted that the high income earner benefits most from the fuel subsidy.

The Finance Minister said the cost to tax payers amounts of 600 million dollars annually.
