Linus PhillipCommuters into and out of the capital city from the East of Trinidad may be inconvenienced this morning as Route Two Association maxi-taxi operators are abstaining from entering the hub at City Gate.

President of the Association, Linus Phillip, said the operators are on the road, but passengers will have to walk to the bridge to board them.

Mr. Phillip revealed that their major bone of contention was the poor management of the facility.

He stated that the protest would only last for the morning period, but warned where there is smoke there is fire.

The Association head said a solution to the problem is now in the hands of the Government.
