E.P.A. Public Relations Officer, Holly Prescott, says loop holes have been identified in various areas one of which is the transporting of cash.
Last year November a security officer was killed on the Churchill Roosevelt Highway after the vehicle he and a co-worker were travelling in was riddled with the bullets.
An undisclosed amount of cash was then stolen.
In a News Power Now interview this afternoon, Mr. Prescott said some security companies are not tightening weaknesses brought to their attention.
Mr Prescott also confirmed recent talk with the National Security Ministry has resulted in progress on matters relating to improved legislation that govern the sector.
