Sports Minister defends decision to use joint army/ police patrols

Despite the fact that many citizens feel their rights are being suppressed under the state of emergency, Sports Minister, Anil Roberts, is defending government’s decision to use joint police/ army patrols in the fight against crime.

Questioned about the Prime Minister’s trip overseas at this particular time, Mr. Roberts noted that with the state of emergency, they expected the crime situation in the country to greatly improve….

But Roberts notes that the vision for the country should not be at a standstill….
