Tertiary Education Minister looking LEC to Practice Law in this country

fAZAL KARIM 1 Minister of Science Technology and Tertiary Education Fazil Karim says his ministry is hoping that very soon, law students would not have to travel abroad to obtain their Legal  Education Certificate to Practice Law in this country.

He made the comment during an exclusive interview with Newspower Authority this morning at the opening of the Global Earthquake Model Caribbean Regional Programme Workshop.

As it is persons doing University of London Programmes are required to go to London to get the certificate.

The Minister notes they are still in discussions with officials at Hugh Wooding Law School and the Attorney General, who has responsibility for the law school…
