President of the Islamic Front, Umar Abdullah told News Power Now that processing of the Trinidadians who were locked up in that country, is now underway.
He said as far as he aware, the men, once returned to this country, will be free to go on with their lives, with no hindrance.
The five Trinidad and Tobago nationals were charged with espionage and subsequently freed by the authorities in Venezuela, on the grounds of time served. They had been detained for alleged terrorist plotting, however that charge was dropped and espionage added.
They had been in the custody of Venezuelan police authorities, since 2014.
