Opposition Leader, Dr. Keith Rowley speaking during a PNM public meeting in Cocayea last night said COP political leader, Prakash Ramashar thinks he will be able to secure his place in the political arena on the same ticket that he used prior to the People’s Partnership assuming office in 2010. Dr. Rowley reminded the population that Mr. Ramadhar had touted the Axe The Tax Campaign, calling for any discussion about property tax to be omitted from the public domain.
The Opposition Leader however reminded those gathered in Cocoyea that the People’s Partnership government, when they came into power, brought back a property tax bill to the parliament.
The Opposition Leader warned citizens that the property tax would be rehashed should the People’s Partnership retain power in the September 7th General Election.
