The Police Complaints Authority has initiated an independent investigation into allegations regarding officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service receiving preferential treatment in attaining HDC houses among other benefits.
PCA said these allegations are serious as it has the potential to compromise our criminal justice system.
Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley highlighted the matter while speaking at Thursday’s Post Cabinet media briefing.

In a statement the PCA confirmed that it will probe the allegations to determine whether or not the conduct of the officers falls within the PCA’s remit.
