Ragoonanan is accused of stealing water to facilitate his park.
A media release from the Water and Sewage Authority on Tuesday stated that the businessman is to answer charges of making an illegal water connection from the Authority’s 16-inch main at the facility in Tabaquite.
However, in an interview on Power 102’s, Power Breakfast programme earlier today, Mr. Ragoonanan denied that he did anything wrong.
He says he makes his WASA payments based on a meter.
Mr. Ragoonanan also denied receiving a summons from WASA, to appear in the Rio Claro Magistrates Court on September 27th 2011.
