Three men have been arrested and will be questioned in relation to a car stealing ring that police believe they have dented. The men, ages 32, 34 and 35 are expected to be charged and taken before the courts.
On Tuesday morning, a team of officers led by Asp.Corbett-Villaruel with assistance from Insp. Mark Maharaj, Sgt. Dollaway, PC Forgenie and PC Armstrong, among several others received key information which led them to the address where the stolen vehicles were recovered. Two vehicles – a BMW and a Kia Sportage, which had been reported stolen, were recovered during the exercise. The discovery was made in the Central Division after being stolen from Port-of- Spain and Sangre Grande.
