Tobago Ready for S.E.A On Thursday

THA Education Secretary Huey Cadette greets a primary school student in Tobago.

The Tobago House of Assembly is assuring all systems are in place ahead of Thursday’s Secondary Entrance Assessment Examinations.

T.H.A.  Education Division Secretary, Huey Cadette, speaking at the weekly post executive council news briefing, said nine hundred and four students from Tobago are eligible to write Thursday’s S.E.A.

He said there are 449 boys and 455 girls.

The Education Ministry says eighteen thousand thirty –nine students are scheduled write the S.E.A.

Mr Cadette said the Division has done the necessary preparations to ensure all systems are fine- tuned to ensure a smooth flow of proceedings.

Meanwhile, the teachers union is extending best wishes to all students sitting the Secondary Entrance Assessment on Thursday.

Students, parents, teachers, principals and school supervisors are being assured by the Education Ministry that all systems are in place for a successful and efficient administration of the S.E.A.

Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association President, Devanand Sinanand, in an interview called on students to be disciplined and apply themselves to their academic opportunities.
