The appeal comes from the Assistant Commissioner of Police for Tobago Garfield Moore.

He spoke with members of the media following the murder of Shanice Roberts.

Police reports say the 17 year old was killed by a man carrying a firearm while at a guest house in Mt St George around 7:30pm Tuesday.

Officers said the suspect fled the scene on foot and the search continues for the person involved in the murder.

News Power Now understands this is the third murder in two weeks in the sister isle.

ACP Moore pleaded with Tobagonians to be a part of the solution in the campaign against lawlessness.

    No crime will be solved in Tobago. It is a free place and the murderers of Peter Taut still live in his house in Bacelot. The police is unable to get any evidence. No police is better than the police of Tobago.
