The T&T Express fast ferry is today operational between Trinidad and Tobago- this after sailing cancellations on Friday.
Public Relations manager at the Port Authority of Trinidad and Tobago, Vilma Lewis Cockburn told News Power Now that today’s sailing was delayed as mechanical matters were still being sorted out, however the ferry eventually left the Port of Spain dock at 9:30am.
Minority Leader of the Tobago House of Assembly, Watson Duke, speaking on the matter this morning, told News power Now that the issue of mechanical failures being experienced at the Port, should be understood by now, and dealt with accordingly.
He lamented that no one cares about Trinidad and Tobago.
Asked whether he would attempt to consult with government on this matter, Mr. Duke said he feels that would be a wasted effort.
