Finance Minister, Larry Howai, will Monday afternoon deliver what he recently described as the biggest budget at 1.30 pm at the Parliament chamber.
Sources put the 2013-2014 fiscal package just over $60 billion, an increase over the 2012-2013 package of $58.4 billion.
Mr. Howai, speaking with reporters at an event of the National Gas Company in Pt Lisas on Saturday, said the Property Tax will be reintroduce, but in a phased basis.
In the run up to the General Election of 2010 there was a promise by the Peoples Partnership government to remove the property tax and return to the old land and building tax rates.
However, Ministry Howai noted that it would not be the same tax as proposed by the Peoples National Movement. He said the new tax structure will be beneficial to everyone.
