Police say two men from the Beetham Gardens have been arrested for the murder of 16-year-old Kazim Maxime, who was murdered Wednesday afternoon, after attending his first day at the Laventille Technology and Continuing Education Centre, off the Eastern Main Road, Laventille.
Maxine was reportedly shot 12 times while he and another friend were walking out the school shortly after 2 pm.
According to reports, the teenager was fired upon by two men who were seen walking from Beetham Gardens. One of the men was toting an automatic pistol while the other whipped out a 9 mm.
Police arrested the two suspects after reviewing surveillance video footage.
Up to last night they were being questioned by officers of the Homicide Bureau, and the Gang Investigation Unit in relation to other murders.
