University students in court for shooting man…

University students, Patrick Ozua, and Marquise Marcano, ages 18 and 20 respectively, have been charged with the shooting of a man with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.

The two appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate, Mark Wellington, in the San Fernando First Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, to answer the joint charge.

It is alleged, on Sunday last at Tarouba the two shot at Jameer Braithwaite with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.

Deputy Chief Magistrate Wellington granted the men Forty Five Thousand dollars ($45,000.00) bail each, to be approved by a Clerk of the Peace.

He also granted them an alternative of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000).

They will reappear in court on September 12th.
