Wage Negotiations for 2011-2014 High on the Agenda of New TTUTA President

The completion of wage negotiations for the period 2011-2014 and addressing issues relating to the implementation of the Continuous Assessment Component in Primary Schools.

These are two areas high on the agenda of the newly elected Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association President, Devanand Sinanan.

Speaking in a News Power Now interview on Monday afternoon, Mr. Sinanan said the union has received complaints from teachers that the support systems for a smooth introduction of the .C.A.C., are lacking.

He added that the delay experienced by persons in line for promotion is another area of concern that the union will pursue.
