WASA should be dragged before Tripartite Committee, says Farmer’s Association President

The Water and Sewage Authority’s decision to further restrict water to communities across the country, beginning on the weekend, is matter that is not sitting well with the Unified Farmers Association. In fact, Association President, Sheraz Khan says the water authority should be dragged before the newly formed Tripartite Committee to answer pertinent questions on its operation and how it is affecting farmers and by extension, the economy.

He questioned the utility’s rationale in dealing with a situation that implicates the nation’s economic situation, especially in light of the nation’s high food import bill and low foreign exchange accumulation.
