On April 10th, the nation was saddened by the news of the passing of Mr.Robinson, who died at the age of 87, after a long struggle with a myriad of ailments.
Members of the public will be able to pay their final respects at the Parliament building in port of Spain between the hours of 10:45am to 5:45pm, and on April 30 from 6am to 5:45pm, a condolences book will be made available for signing on both days.
A state ecumenical service will be he held in honor of Mr. Robinson at the National Academy of the Performing Arts (NAPA) on May 1.
Following that service, the body of the former President and Prime Minister will lie in state in the eastern lobby of the NAPA until 3 pm.
From there his body will be escorted by coach to the Ulric Cross Airbase with full military honors.
The body then be flown to the ANR Robinson International airport in Tobago and taken to the Union funeral Home.
The body will lie in state at the Legislative Chamber at the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) on May 2, between the hours of 6am to 5:45 pm.
On May 3, there will be a procession with full military honors to the Scarborough Methodist Church, the venue of internment for a thanksgiving service.
This will be followed by the final committal and internment with full military honors.
The official coindolence books remain at the parliament of Trinidad and Tobago, he Legislative Chamber of the Tobago House of Assembly, The Roxborough District Inland Revenue Office, all the Diplomatic Missions, and the City Borough Corporations of Port of Spain, San Fernando, Arima, Chaguanas, and Pt. Fortin until May 2 between the hours of 8am to 4pm
