Three persons including a woman have been arrested in connection with ammunition found during an anti crime exercise.

Officers of the Southern Division Task Force, during the exercise, found a revolver, a pistol and a quantity of ammunition in the Princes Town district.

The exercise, supervised by Sgt. Roland Ramlogan was conducted around 5:00pm, on Thursday.

During the exercise, the officers executed a search warrant at an apartment located at Lothians Gardens, Princes Town, occupied by three suspects; a 21 year old man, his 21 year old common-law wife m, and his 27 year old brother.

The search resulted in one Smith and Wesson revolver loaded with four rounds of 9mm ammunition being found on a window ledge.

One Browning pistol loaded with three rounds of 9mm ammunition and 93 grammes of marijuana, being discovered under a bed in the apartment.

The drugs found has an estimated street value of $930.

The three suspects were arrested in connection with the finds.
