A 32 year old man is now warded at hospital after being shot in the neck.

Sherwin Thompson Aka Scrappy has reportedly been doing mechanical repairs on a vehicle along Gun Hill road in Cap De Ville at around 9am when he was shot.

The victim was rushed to the Point Fortin Area hospital and was later transferred by Ambulance to the San Fernando General Hospital.

He remains in a serious but stable condition at the health facility.

Point Fortin Police are investigating.
