Police officers attached to the Inter Agency Task Force, recovered a quantity of marijuana in the Laventille district on Saturday.
The officers along with members of the Mounted and Canine Branch conducted an Anti-Crime exercise in the area between 2pm and 5pm.
The officers carried out a search in a bushy area at Old St. Joseph Road and Pashley Street where they found and seized a black plastic bag containing 240 grams of marijuana.
The narcotics have an estimated street value of $3,600 dollars.
No one was arrested.
