There are 62 persons in quarantine in Tobago. According to the Tobago House of Assembley’s Division of Health, these persons had returned to the island from regional and international countries and will be in quarantine for 14 days.

The THA explained that two of the 62 persons fell ill on March 22nd and were taken to the Scarborough General Hospital where tests for COVID19 were taken. The results have not yet returned. It was however noted that the other 60 persons are in good health and show no flu like symptoms.

The THA has assured that those quarantined are given a medical check-up twice per day, three meals, care packages from friends and relatives and reside in self-contained rooms in an undisclosed location on the island.
