by | Oct 31, 2018

Former Finance Minister, Wendell Mottley, is suggesting that government considers whether or not there should be a level of private sector involvement in the operation of the inter-island ferry service.

Mr. Mottley was bestowed with the country’s highest award, the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago at the National Awards ceremony in September for Distinguished and Outstanding Service to Trinidad and Tobago in the Sphere of National Development/Public Service.

He highlighted his views during the Facing the Issues Programme on Power 102.1FM on Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. Mottley also suggested that there are practices used at a few state enterprises that can be adopted to ensure success.
