Attorney General Faris Al Rawi continues to lament the collapse of the debate of the Anti-Gang Bill and says he believes the country needs legislation to effectively deal with the increasing problem of crime.

He responded to statements from the Opposition that pre-existing laws could be used by law enforcement agencies to battle the scourge of criminal activity presently gripping the country.
The Attorney General says the power of the Law lies in its disruptive behavior.

He maintained that it is gang culture and behavior that causes crime to prosper.
