Trinidad and Tobago’s crime rate continues to increase. The latest victim of criminal activity is state witness, Kevin Bhukal. He was 47-years-old.
Reports state that Bukhal was the main State witness in a case that involved three men who were accused of his attempted murder. He was killed on Sunday, days after the three accused were committed to stand trial for attempting to murder him, three years ago.
The victim was found dead by Gran Couva police. He was slumped over the steering wheel of his Nissan B12 motor vehicle which had been parked near to the entrance of the Forres Park Landfill in Claxton Bay. The discovery was made on Sunday at around 4pm. The victim had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
