Anti Gang Legislation Could Help Police Officers Carry out Their Duties, Says Social Police Welfare President.

by | Jan 15, 2018

As conversations surrounding the Anti-Gang Legislation continue Police Service Social and Welfare Association President Insp Michael Seales believes that it can only help the TTPS carry out their duties with more ease.

There has been concern that the legislation could be open to abuse and manipulation by corrupt officers of the police service.

However, Seales says he takes a different view. He used the example of the second schedule, which speaks about the detention order.
