A release sent by the Ministry of Education stated that classes at the Arima Central Secondary School will resume on Wednesday.
Education Minister, Dr Tim Gopeesingh said tenders will be advertised next week for contractors to repair the termite-ridden floors, walls, ceilings.
Bat proofing will also be installed at the school.
The Education Minister also announced that a section of the Arima Old Government Primary School will be repaired to accommodate students of Forms Five and Six, in order to alleviate the problem of overcrowding.
This project is expected to be completed within six weeks.
