Meanwhile…As the meeting of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago which was called to bring forward a motion of no confidence against its president and vice president convened, it was apparent that former Attorney General Anand Ramlogan was a no show.
The motion did not go to vote as attorneys Wayne Sturge and Gerald Ramdeen surprisingly did not defend the requisition which was the basis of the meeting.
In an interview with the Power Breakfast Show this morning, Attorney and Law Association member Keith Scotland gave an account of what took place yesterday.
Apart from Sturge and Ramdeen’s refusal to maintain their position on the issues Scotland also stated that the number of members who had initial signed off on the request had retracted their signatures.
He believes that this meeting highlighted several issues that need to be address by the Association.
