Attorney General Garvin Nicholas has described as unrealistic, Jack Warner’s claims that he would be absent for 15 years following his extradition.
Warner reportedly made the comments last night after he heard that the United States government had sent his extradition documentation.
Speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on power 102.1 fm this morning. Mr. Nicholas revealed that even with multiple appeals it would not be that long.
He said now that there has been a formal request for Mr. Warner’s extradition by the United States, it’s up to him as Attorney General to decide whether an authority to proceed can be made.
He also sought to give a comprehensive idea of what would take place once an authority to proceed has been given.
