Beauty salons across Trinidad and Tobago got the green light to reopen today, after approximately three months of business closure as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Trinidad and Tobago presently has no COVID-19 positive patients at any healthcare facility in the country, according to the Ministry of Health. Even with that assurance however, health officials have continued to urge members of the public to wear masks while out and about and to practice proper sanitisation methods.
At High Performance Unisex Barber Salon along Independence Square North in Port- of- Spain, one barber told News Power Digital that the team is back out and operating today, however they are taking all necessary precautions to ensure that there is no contraction of the COVID-19 virus at the location. Richard Joseph, a barber with 19 years experience, told us that for now, the barbers at High Performance Unisex Salon, are operating strictly by appointment.
