CrimeResidents and drivers passing through the San Fernando area are being warned of bandits allegedly tossing rocks at cars in a bid to rob them.
A post to social media shared on Monday night urged drivers to be careful and not to stop if they experienced rocks being thrown at cars while driving and several citizens have commented on a spate of rising crime in parts of South Trinidad.
Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) Public Information Officer, Acting Assistant Superintendent, Michael Pierre, told loop that an investigation has been launched into the reports.
Recently, 25-year-old PH taxi driver Ossie Callender of Battoo Avenue, Marabella, was shot in his head while plying his private car for hire along the San Fernando/ Marabella route.
