DIRTY DRAINCries for a proper clean-up of waste around the Beetham Gardens connecting drains leads to protest against alcohol producing giant Angostura.

Residents at Beetham Gardens took their plight to the gates of Angostura on their Eastern Main, Laventille compound to express anger and disgust with the on-going stench emanating from their factory.

Residents protested against the eight month long stench as well as waste being dumped by the company into the drains; this they say is causing health problems with children and has thus been a breeding ground for mosquitoes.
