The Contractors Association of Trinidad and Tobago is hoping that early next year the government will be in a position to pay the outstanding four billion dollars owned to its members.

CATT President , Ramlogan Roopnarinesingh, in a News Power Now interview said the operations of many contractors have come to end because of the development with some being forced to lay off staff.

Mr. Roopnarinesingh also noted the importance of ensuring that the country remains a good option for investors who are interested in doing business locally.
