The Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association reveals it is not in a position to say when upgrade work to address health and safety concerns expressed will be completed at its various branches.
Last month Public Services Association President, Watson Duke, ordered the shutdown of the Association’s Duke and Henry Streets, Port- of- Spain headquarters.
Mr. Duke complained that the association has failed in several safety areas.
In a News Power Now interview TTBWA President, Kenneth Suratt, said challenges identified are being addressed.
Mr. Suratt admitted that the early closure of the offices ahead of the busy Christmas period has impacted on its operations.
