A 53 year old man was found dead this morning at the side of the Eastern Main Road.
The man has been identified as Rex Commissiong.
According to reports police received a tip at approximately 5am this morning about a body that was seen lying along the road way in the vicinity of Dinsley Junction.
On arrival the officers found Mr. Commissiong with a laceration to the head.
Officers are treating the incident as a homicide.
An autopsy is expected to be conducted on the body.
