Swim ace George Bovell 3rd is out of harm’s way, not having turned up in Hong Kong to contest any of the three events he was logged for in the two-day third-leg of Swimming’s World Cup circuit.

Without any official communique from his home Amateur Swimming Association or the swimmer himself who usually uses his  Social Media pages to chronicle his diaries, it is believed that widespread pro-democracy demonstrations in Hong Kong stood in the way of his presence there for competition.

As mentioned before, he did clarify that there were some issues which prevented him from appearing there … none of those issues mentioned appear to be related to the protest action being taken.
