The President in sending his Father’s Day message asked men to embrace their place in the family and contribute to building a safer, holistic, respectful and compassionate society.
He noted that there are many young persons who unfortunately have not been afforded the opportunity to experience true paternal love, care and appreciation.
Their loss is sometimes reflected in their relationships with others which may well be skewed one way or the other.
He said this does not redound to the benefit of either of the parties or of the wider society.
He calls on Fathers to wear the badge of fatherhood with eternal pride and shoulder in real terms the responsibilities that come with it.
