The Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society is issuing a challenge for men over the age of 40 to get screened for prostate cancer.

It’s an appeal coming from Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society Chairman, Dr Jacqueline Sabga.
September is designated as Prostate Cancer Awareness month.

Screening is cited as a critical step as there are no early warning signals of this disease.

TTCS Education and Communications Officer, Kimlin Harrilal, in a News Power interview said that prostate cancer remains the leading cancer in Trinidad and Tobago.
