Minister of National Security, Stuart Young, says he has been informed by the leadership of the Police Service that over $77 million dollars have been lost by local customers due to card skimming.

He explains that the figures provided for the illegal practice is for the period January last year to November this year.

It was also indicated that over three thousand reports were made to the TTPS for the timeline in question of card skimming.

Minister Young gave the update during his response to a question posed to him by Opposition Senator, Taharqa Obika, in the Senate this afternoon.
