Caribbean Airlines Counteracts Claims of Inefficient Service on the Domestic Airbridge

Caribbean airlines defends its ability.

On the heels of criticism of its inability to properly service the air bridge between Trinidad and Tobago by various trade and tourism stakeholders in Tobago, Caribbean Airlines is this evening attempting to make clear, its cumulative domestic airbridge summer operation.

The national carrier says the airbridge experienced an unprecedented increase in demand this past July-August vacation period and as such, the company provided an 8 percent increase in additional service, as compared to last year. Caribbean Airlines says some 13,364 seats were made available for the traveling public domestically, in July and August, inclusive of 26 flights that were added utilizing their Boeing 737 jet services.

The airline says discussions are ongoing with all stakeholders and the company will use the market information obtained to align supply and demand.
