Caribbean Airlines (CAL) passengers can expect another day of lengthy delays as there has been on resolution to concerns of pilots.
Yesterday the pilots scheduled to take passengers to their destinations called in sick.
Two of the destinations mainly affected by the sick-out are the US and Tobago.
The Caribbean Airlines flights listed on the Airports Authority website are said to be one time.
However, one flight from Tobago was cancelled.
In a release yesterday, CAL Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Michael DiLollo said that the airline was primarily concerned for the health and welfare of the pilot body since this was an unprecedented occurrence.
Mr. Dilollo described the situation as an unfortunate occurrence that disrupted scheduled services at the beginning of the critical summer season, when the airline most depends on the operational crew.
CAL went on to state that it was disappointed with the action of the pilots.
