The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) has said that although there is a low chance of the Ebola Virus reaching the region; countries should be prepared.
CARPHA Executive Director of, Dr. James Hospedales said in the countries where the virus is present people have contact with infected organs, blood, or other bodily fluids of dead or living sick persons or animals.
Ebola spreads through mucous and other body fluids or secretions such as stool, urine, saliva and semen of infected people.
