Farmers from central and southern Trinidad came out in protest today of the
move to bring Egypt farmers onto their lands.
The protest took place outside of the Prime Minister’s residence, which
quickly moved to the Prime Minister’s office.
There, President of the sheep and goat farmers association, Shiraz Khan
expressed his disappointment with Minister Vasant Bharath on the broken
promises made to farmers.
Speaking at the office of the Prime Minister, Mr. Khan says the farmers are
not being treated fairly.
